Are you struggling with your dog’s behavior and don’t know how to change it? Perhaps you have a tenacious teenager who is going through many difficult changes, or you’re struggling with your dog’s reactions around triggers. With private training, I come to your home to work with you and your dog and provide you with solutions to help you achieve your training goals.

We’ll work on a catered, one-on-one program with you and your family. I focus on your needs and issue resolutions where the issues actually happen: your home, the kitchen area, the backyard, the elevator and or staircase, by the front door, and in your neighborhood. The important value of a one-on-one session is that it can be as basic or as advanced as you’d like.

Sessions can be scheduled daytime, evenings, and on weekends, at your convenience. Sessions are one hour, and once you are a client, you’re always welcome to contact me with follow-up questions.

Do you feel your days are just too busy for formal training?

I can help by coming to train your dog or puppy directly, anywhere from 2 to 5 days a week. Then, after anywhere from 2 to 10 Day Training sessions, we’ll have a special training session called an Owner Transfer Session where I show you all the new skills your dog or puppy has learned.

IMPORTANT: For Day Training to be successful, you must commit to following the training instructions at the Initial Consultation and Owner Transfer sessions. I make that as easy as possible for you, of course. Please note that Day Training may not be the right fit for certain training goals.

Day Training sessions last between 45 and 55 minutes. Sessions are offered on weekdays in a limited geographic area only.

All Training programs start with an Initial Consultation. This 90 minute session gives me a chance to meet you and your dog, and learn more about your goals. We’l talk about how dogs learn and I’ll share training tips you can use to start training your dog right away. After the Initial Consultation, I’ll create an individualized plan for you and your dog, followed by one-hour sessions. The Initial Consultation is $195.

Private training sessions after the Initial Consultation are pre-purchased $130 per session; minimum 3 sessions. You can also pre-purchase a package of 6 sessions for $735 (a savings of over $40).

Day Training and Owner Transfer sessions after the Initial Consultation are pre-purchased $130 per session (+ $25 for Puppy Day Training sessions); minimum 2 sessions.
