Puppies are born with no life skills. Your new puppy will learn their most vital skills through lots of appropriate socializing and positive training techniques. They learn good manners when they are given clear communication, guidance, and structure.
The Cute Puppy License does have an expiration date – this is where training becomes a necessity no matter how good or cute puppies are. While we’ll work on structure, training should be fun – you and your puppy will learn to read each other’s body language and to better understand the other all while having fun!

We’ll cover everything from problem-solving strategies for potty training to suggested types of crates, beds, playpens and the best toys and activities for your puppy. After all, life must continue even after the puppy joins the family. The kids still need help with homework, you still go to work and leave the house so it’s important that your little one knows how to entertain himself and be happy when alone.
We’ll also cover problem prevention strategies to ensure your puppy grows into an adult dog you can truly enjoy– friendly, relaxed, well behaved, and fun.

Life Skills and Training for Puppies programs start with an Initial Consultation. This 90-minute session gives me a chance to meet you and your puppy, and learn more about your goals. We’ll talk about how dogs learn. and I’ll share training you can put into practice immediately, giving priority to the two things that will be the foundation for a happy future for your puppy and you: socialization and housetraining. After the Initial Consultation, I’ll create an individualized plan for you and your puppy, followed by one-hour sessions. The Initial Consultation is $195.
Private training sessions after the Initial Consultation are pre-purchased in a 6 session puppy package, which is $735.
